Located in Steelville, Missouri, The Crossbuck Barn is a barn venue that caters to weddings and special events. Owned and operated by Gerald and Crystal Earhart, this barn opened in fall 2020 and is ready to provide an idyllic backdrop for weddings, reunions, parties and concerts. Located just 90 minutes drive from St Louis, offering a serene setting while being close to city amenities.
Facilities and Capacity
The Crossbuck Barn offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for events. Wedding couples can choose to exchange vows on the grounds, against a backdrop of rolling hills and endless skies, before moving to the barn for receptions. Boasting two stories, this property has plenty of indoor space for gatherings and celebrations of up to 200 people. The room offers an elegant and rustic ambiance, featuring soaring ceilings and an incredible arched window. A wagon wheel chandelier hangs from the ceiling, casting a romantic light across the polished concrete floor and timber-framed walls. The balcony in the barn offers a view onto the dance floor below and makes a great area for extra seating or a cocktail hour. Two outdoor porches lead off this event space, allowing couples to take in the magnificent views and enjoy the balmy Missouri weather. Outdoor seating, combined with the indoor seating, can accommodate an event with as many as 300 guests. Two private suites are also available on the second level of the barn, offering a serene location for couples to prepare before the festivities. Peak season at this venue runs from April through to October.
Services Offered
In addition to ceremonies and receptions, The Crossbuck Barn can also host events such as engagement parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners and concerts. They can provide items such as chairs, tables, and a dance floor, preventing clients from needing to source these from elsewhere. Clients may avail of the on-site catering kitchen and bar, both of which are included with the rental of the barn. Parking is available on-site, providing easy access to guests. This property is also pet-friendly, allowing couples to enjoy their day with their furry friends.
